I did managed to squeeze in a few trips to Door County this summer. I say did, because somehow it's already the end of August. This is also a surprise to my tomato plants who have yet to ripen. But we did find some time for the beach and sailing; I guess sailboarding will have to wait till Sept.

Isle Royale
Sunset at Todd Harbor.
Tripping into oblivion
OK, I only developed three blisters on our hike over Isle Royale. Not too bad after 50 miles. We hiked with Roger - a good friend and former assistant at Image- he doesn't get blisters and snickers as we wrap duct tape around our toes.
Sunrise at Daisy Farm.

Ad for Kohler
Kohler has used one of my photos in their latest ad on the back covers of Dwell and Metropolitan Home magazines. It's always fun seeing your work used full page. Thanks Mike and Tristan.

new morgan
Today, while on location with a client in Kentucky, we made a quick stop to check out her new foal. What a beautiful part of the country; didn't hurt that it was 85 degrees either.

from an old camera
Before digital, my main camera for play was the wonderfully awful Holga. I must say, I don't miss the darkroom, but was looking for a way to inexpensively capture blurry, distortion filled images; well, combine a $4000 DSLR with a cheap pseudo TLR from the 1950's and this is what you get.
