Today, while on location with a client in Kentucky, we made a quick stop to check out her new foal. What a beautiful part of the country; didn't hurt that it was 85 degrees either.
Before digital, my main camera for play was the wonderfully awful Holga. I must say, I don't miss the darkroom, but was looking for a way to inexpensively capture blurry, distortion filled images; well, combine a $4000 DSLR with a cheap pseudo TLR from the 1950's and this is what you get.
My first commercial shoot was of the World Series trophy. It was delivered to my apartment in a box. Somehow it always looks great on TV, but in a recycled corrugated box it loses it's luster. That was a while ago and I have moved on to other shiny metal objects. On this blog I will refrain from all things reflective.
